Director

Cedar Road Christian Academy and Day Care operates under the leadership of a director who coordinates the staff, oversees daily operations, and maintains a high level of staff morale.

Faculty

All elementary teachers hold at least a bachelor degree. They bring a wealth of experience from various backgrounds. Due to the military community’s presence in our area, Cedar Road Christian Academy is blessed to have a cultural and racial diversity among teaching staff.

Preschool teachers are chosen for their unique ability to love, nurture and genuinely care for those in their charge. They love the children and are excited about their job.

Auxiliary Staff

Office personnel, resource teachers, cafeteria workers, and afterschool care givers display a genuine concern for and excitement about children. They bring a wealth of experience, training and dedication to the ministry of Cedar Road Christian Academy, and keep the program running at top efficiency.

These people are a vital part of the overall school operation. Their enthusiasm and dedication contribute to a positive and uplifting environment.

Selection of Faculty and Staff

The administration covers many areas of consideration in the selection of faculty and staff. Teachers must profess faith in Jesus Christ and adhere to the basic Christian beliefs as stated in the Apostles Creed; be academically qualified; be a person of moral integrity and have a genuine love for children.

A physician’s statement for each staff member is required for employment, which certifies that the staff member is free from any disability that would prevent him or her from supervising children. This is submitted annually to the State. In addition, staff members are First Aid and CPR certified.

The administration at Cedar Road Christian Academy is continually alert to issues concerning the safety and well-being of each student. CRCA conducts criminal background checks on prospective employees, and maintains a vigilant child protection policy.
