Summer Camp
Summer camp begins the week following the end of the academic school
year. The summer program features special activities, field trips,
and outdoor fun.
Activities for ages 6-12 include:
Norfolk Botanical Gardens, sports competitions, picnics at the park,
computer room, arts and crafts, cooking classes, water play, Olympic
Days, roller skating, nature walks, swimming, Norfolk Zoo, miniature
golf, Northwest River Park, Virginia Marine Science Museum, Portsmouth
Children’s Museum and numerous other activities.
For ages 2 – 5:
Traveling zoo, tumbling and gymnastics, clowns, outdoor play, arts
and crafts, picnics, story time, toddler pool, bird show, nature
walks, movies and Bible stories.
All Campers:
During the summer, each week begins with a chapel service. In addition,
campers enjoy a week of Vacation Bible School – a highlight
of the summer program.
The 10-week summer schedule ends with picnics, parties and fond
farewells.
Some students will be enrolling in classes at Cedar Road Christian
Academy, while others move on to other area schools.
